Story Plan

It begins introducing the protagonist to the audience as he plays on his Nintendo. The video reveals that the artist is in the game being played. The artist appears in the protagonist’s room and invites him into the game. By jumping they travel to different levels and explor their surroundings. The artist shows the protagonist each level and introduces him into her game and they begin to fall in love.  As the song comes to an end the artist and protagonist almost kiss when his Nintendo runs out of battery and he is back in his bedroom alone.

My two different social groups that I will be representing will be girls and boys. The representation of girls in this video is intelligent and confident. The representation of boys in this music video is quite stereotypical as he is seen to be in his bedroom fixated on playing the Nintendo game.

Statement of intent- Website  I want to create a website that shows synergy between my video and the online pages for my artist. I will do this through creating a colour scheme on my website that I can easily attach to my video at the end. I created a soft coloured background including hand drawn images that relate to the music video, therefore creating synergy. This style of background was inspired by Alessia Cara’s website where she also has small hand drawn images on a soft mustard coloured background. I incorporated my background that I created into the end of my music video where I could clearly outline the music company production as well as an obvious link to my artist’s website.
